Let it snow!

What a glorious day! As I headed to North London yesterday with my brother I commented about always dreaming that one day us siblings would actually want to spend time together voluntarily - that day has come! Never really imagined that perfect Friday night would be a takeaway and drinks with my bother and sister. It is.

Followed by morning croissants in bed then off to play in the snow. Five year old nephew refusing to try on Barbie wellies and insisting on calling me "stupid auntie Charly" for the entire day. Favourite quote heard en route to Ally Pally was a mum telling her daughter butter wasn't good for and getting the response "I don't care I'm not a good girl". Was feeling a little disheartened when the "recession sledge" we'd found (half a cardboard box) started tearing and taking my nephew no further than two metres... But then we found a stranger, actually a friend of my sis, who was happy to donate his sledge for a good few slopes.

Magic.

Quick tips

Hmmm. Washing in the shower at the gym, using the cozzie dryer to wring it out, using the hairdryer to heat the bed before you get in... that's all for now.

On a directive from Rosanna and Tom

Over dinner last night I was surprised to discover that my mind is uniquely inquisitive about all matters, especially random. It was while chatting about Village SOS (a project next year for which I've applied to be a Village Champion) and how to get an all-expenses-paid trip to Madrid that my dinner companions (fashionista Rosanna and author Tom) insisted I start a blog. So here I am on a mission to let the world know about little things they might not yet know. And might want to. Or not.

Oh, and Tom - I need a name now.
